For the most part any headlight will work with any bike - just depends how much work you want to put into it. The FZ1N headlight will not work with any year FZ6 without some modifications, but with mods will work with all years.

Woot! Headlight job completed!!
Here are some of the details:
The FZ1N kit comes with a bracket as I've said before, but it does not fit natively with the FZ6 so it needs some modifications. Pics below show the following... A piece of the bracket needs to be removed because the FZ ignition assembly interferes... I picked up a pair of fork mounts to support the FZ1N bracket, but had to cut the arms down and drill a new hole... The lower part of the FZ1N bracket needs and additional cross piece to mount to the fizzer frame where the front brake line is secured. I added rubber spacers to push the bottom of the bracket away from the frame, otherwise there is some interference.

Thanks! Yeah that is a bummer. I'm sure if one was to put in more effort and $$ it could be made to work, perhaps by incorporating an FZ1N flyscreen.

Thanks dude. Maybe next Sat. It's supposed to hit 45 degrees and we've had a ton of rain that has washed some of the salt/sand shite from the roads.

Hey Wave, any way for getting information about the FZ1 headlight from your french forums, if someone wants to sell one?

That's my favorite so far
That's my favorite naked FZ6 front end conversion that I've seen yet.
Mounted up nice and high, and it doesn't look like a beak sticking out. Sweet and clean!
I still don't like lower cowl fairings on the FZ6 though.....

I love the headlight but not feeling the front turn signals too much. I wonder what it would look with flushies. Still a great job and GOOD WORK.
