Default My Naked Conversion

Just an update on my naked bike, i started a thread a while back, but my headlight got lost in the mail for 4 weeks, and i had surgery on my wrist recently. But, i finaly was able to get it done. Only thing i need now is a bellypan.
The headlight i got off ebay. For $100 its wonderful, very sturdy! And Very bright, two of the pictures below shows the light beam pattern(one's high, and one's the low beam. both are 55w though).
Also, i got my Harris Grips mounted
And my blinkers are mounted on the forks($4 from autolumination.com).
And the Custom mirrors are done! i didnt like the ones i had bought before, so i made some smaller one's.

I like it!

That handlebar looks awesome... can you steer all the way without hitting the tank? I`d like the same one in black

Those mirrors look slick too... have you ridden the bike yet? can you see behind you ok? their location give the impression that you'd be looking at your arms

Props on the signals, that's quite unique

Handle bar is the LSL Streetbar. They might have black too. Yes, i can turn fully side to side, no problems. comes within 1/4 inch from hitting tank. i have detailed pics of it on a thread i started awhile back(you know what to do )

Havent rode the bike yet(still healing from surgery), but the view is from right under my arms, no need to move the arms.

The one ive got is one of the cheaper versions(no tanks involved). I love playing with it, till i run out of wire but its only $15 a roll.

I wrecked the bike about 7 months back, not too long after getting it. im sure ya read about it. Broke my wrist, had surgery soon after to have a plate installed, and just recently went back in to have it removed, it was bothering me alittle. Just hope it gets better soon, so i can ride....60deg's tommarrow

Yes I just checked the thread and it all came back to me

So, you went naked because you wrecked... the question then is: do you prefer it now or before?

Mirrors? Tight!

Headlight? Sweet! Looks WAY better on the bike than it did sitting on the table a few threads ago. I was worried!

HaHa...no, i used the insurance money(actually the persons at fault, it was their insurance) to pay for repairs to back to normal. $4,800 damage. The main cost was the frame(no frame sliders at the time) it has a small scratch on it, they quoted for a new frame too.
Anyway, i just had all the other damage replaced( whole new fairing, tail, foot peg, gas tank and rear side peice), and left the small scratch on the frame, and i kept over $2000. i touched it up, and ya would never notice.
I should have went naked, and kept a TON of money, but it wasnt on my mind to go naked at the time. Im selling my fairing in the classifieds, im never going back, I LOVE BEING NAKED!!(you know what i mean....)
