Just bought a Fazer... Project Wavex v1.0 Reincarnated begins

Well, after two months of searching I finally found an FZ6 to replace the '07 Ninja 250R that I've been riding since last July. It's a red '06 with only 12 miles on it.

I also happen to be the guy who bought Wavex's KMP K5 headlight.



So..... basically I'll be recreating Wavex's original naked FZ6 that was wrecked a few months ago (except with a few different parts here and there). I'll be making updates to this thread as the project progresses.

LOL, I guess you could say that. I'll probably end up putting a few miles on it before I start modding just so I can get a feel for the differences b/w the two bikes.

He had an '07 250, then bought the '06 FZ6. Not the other way around.

What dealer and where in Kentucky did you get the FZ6?

It's being sold by Chase Motorsports in Paducah, KY.
eBay Motors: Yamaha : FZ (item 250217361193 end time Feb-28-08 17:00:00 PST)

The original dealership that had it went bankrupt, so they got it through a liquidator.
