I'll probably go the paint route for the forks since that'll only cost me 20 bucks instead of 200+.
Rears will be powdered eventually. I need to find a shop that will take mail in orders in the mean time.

sounds & looks great!

Is that speedo gonna be tucked behind the headlight mini-fairing eventually? I think it would finish the bike perfectly

Anyway, I am glad you`re done bro!

Yep, I'm still planning on moving the instrument cluster behind the fairing. I need remove all of the electrical tape from the headlight harness and shorten all the connections to clean things up.

Thumbs up

That looks great. I just found it, searching for fairings. I cracked mine the other day, fricken Ford. Well I don't suppose you still have your fairing.. if you do let me know. Or maybe I will go nekkid too!

Thanks, wicked pissa job on the bike!

Deb

Thanks for the compliments Boo.

Sorry to hear about your fairing getting cracked. I ended up selling mine to a guy up in Canada who had a wreck about a month or two ago. Going naked is always good.... plus then you can join our naked FZ6 club.

It's a little bit more work going naked (more expensive too) but the satisfaction of having a one-of-a-kind bike is worth it IMO.

Thought I'd post some new pics since my last update. I actually did most of this several weeks ago..... but the forks are now painted along with the radiator cover, and I decided to get rid of the mirrors since they are not required in Mississippi. Looks 10x better without them IMO.
My next mod will probably be to swap the stock handlebar with a black LSL "street bar" and new set of grips/ends.

KMP - Spécialiste de la pièce détachée de GSX-R de 1985 à nos jours.

It's basically just a '06/'07 GSXR-600/750 headlight with a custom made fiberglass fairing on it.
