I am asking them to confirm on what exactly they mean by "seat"... to make sure it includes the whole rear end.

Wavex,
Count me in as a "potential" for the seat. If that 145Euros is for that whole rear end there's no way I could pass it up.

Let us know!!

Wave, I just watched your youtube naked "how-to" and SoCal ride videos.. First off, beautiful taste in music. Second, DAMN YOU!! I've just called a buddy of mine to "borrow" some indoor space for a couple of months to start my own naked conversion. You sir, are PERSONALLY responsible for the draining of my wallet which is beginning right now as I browse for various parts!

Anywho, I just wanted to let you know that the two naked conversions I've seen you undertake have been absolutely gorgeous. Maybe by March I'll have mine done....

Long story short... -->me <-- Wavex

One more question .. flame if need be .. I just want to be sure before I spend any money..

That rear end is compatible not only with the original mounting points (thank you for already answering), but the stock exhaust also? That's going to be a major cost factor if I have to swap out to a different set of cans..

Thanks again for all the legwork you're doing Wavex.

Once again, count me in for the "sabot". Just let me know how to proceed. Thanks again for the effort.

novca: I am glad I converted another adept

Good luck on your project and please keep us posted.

Ok, Access Composite confirmed the seat is the whole rear end... without the actual seat padding though. They sell the padding (which glues to the carbon fiber rear end) for 14 euros ($20).

Here are the parts (they`ll ship like that):

Wave,
I've been mulling the naked / streetfighter thing over for a while; the crazy beauty of your ride just tipped me over the edge.

- Any word on whether this was or was not compatible with the stock exhaust? That's about all I can think of to convince me that I need to get in on this buy.

- Should also probably make it a point to point out that the seat section requires separate padding. (I'll be buying it through them if I go through with this).

So far, this is me..

Been looking around at ways to make this street legal; it's going to be quite the adventure!

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the rear is only compatible with w/2-can exhausts (aftermarket). You may be able to ebay a seat foam for less.

- stock exhaust: should fit, but can't confirm for sure.

- OEM R1 padded seat won`t fit. You need to get the one they provide.

So far, here are the potential buyers:

SEAT/REAR-END:
- novcadetshotz
- FZ6 Dude
- Defyinertia
- oso2k
- wavex

BELLYPAN:
- spaman48
- Defyinertia
- Killernoodle

I will confirm with everyone before buying anything, so don`t worry if you change your mind.

Who else?

To be clear, assuming we're getting an order of 5 (and the 15% discount), we'll get rear ends for 145 EU - 15% (123.25 EU = $177.58 USD), and belly pans for 110 EU - 15% (93.5 EU = $134.72 USD), all prices shipped. Any estimate of how long it might be before we get the parts in? How will we pay you or them?
