I've drilled my belly pan but it's still sitting in the box because I have not fabbed up any front brackets or painted it yet. Anyone create any brackets for this belly pan that they can post pictures of???? $191 + paint and it's just sitting there....

The CobraSkinz is made from much thicker fiberglass (stronger but less flexible). I copied pics from post #83 of this thread. Getting it to fit and mount well will take cutting, sanding, and maybe a custom bracket. Especially if you want keep the Lasers. If you pick up this tail, I'll throw in the Smoked 04-06 R1 Integrated Tail Light I bought for it last year for another $45 (I think I paid either $65 or $85 for it; the purchase price is in the FZ6-R thread). So that'll be 1 - CobraSkinz 04-06 R1 Tail plus 1 - 04-06 R1 Integrated Tail Light, all for $125 shipped. Regular price on the CobraSkinz R1 Tail is $100 + $25 S&H, and on the R1 Integrated Tail Light anywhere from $50 + $15 S&H on eBay, to $98.95 + ~$8 S&H.
The AccessComposites Tail will come with the Seat Pad. I think the integrated tail light look good inside it too. I'll try to take pics of the tail but I won't have time or space in my garage (semi-living out of it until I can get my walls painted and flooring down ;)) to actually try a quick mount. If you want to make the trek up to Palmdale to see the tails, you're more than welcome to.
Nope...not yet. Been busy with a project at work (I've worked 10 or more hours for the past 8 days straight and I'm working my 9th today) and when I come home, I get to paint a two story, 2150 square foot home. I don't see me doing anything until July or August.
that stinks... last activity on this site for Bike10 shows 4-24-08 he hasnt logged on since then...

I've $200 invested on this belly pan for the last 6 months or so and I still don't have it. I donnow what happened to bike10. He has totally disappeared and has been incommunicado over email and pms. Even the cellphone# Louis had is not working.
He is a nice guy though. I hope he shows up otherwise my $200 are a goner
