Default Two Brother's Custom Made Sylencer(UPDATED)

*UPDATED* scroll down...
I was thinking of removing my Two Bro's exhaust and going back to stock, or something else, Cause of the noise. leaving early for work, was disturbing the neighbors. But the two bro's system just sounds so sweet, and is the best looking system of my choice. So i'd figure id find a way to make it quiter without paying $60+ on their sylencers. So, I made my own. Its Alot quieter at idle, and a bit quieter at crusing speed. Basically i got rid of the echo, but kept the deep sound.
I used very thin sheet of aluminum, and cut it out, and made a hole in the center the same diameter as the stock system's exit pipe. And used gasket maker on both sides when installing...Pics describe alot, so here ya go.

Looks like a good mod. Love the look of that carbon fiber exhaust.

But bothering the neighbors is part of the deal of having a bike. I remeber when I had my cruiser. It was 1300cc with 3 inch open exhaust. I was working nights at the time and would leave at 10:30 every night. I think that was just payback for their kids running through our yard nonstop durring the day.

The first mod above was'nt quiet enough for me, so i added another plate along with the first one. its made out of the same stuff, and has a slightly larger hole. And i painted it with flat high temp paint. I like it!, defintatly noticably quieter at idle, and still has the deap roar upon acceleration....

dunno if it'll help but do you have an old vid of the exhaust pre-mod and post-mod? might be nice to hear the differences.

If they were not bitching i'd never do it. Man i dont get it. I have CF Scorpions. They are loud as hell, but i can come back home at night running 3000rpm and it is quiet that nobody hears it . Besides the silencers take the rumble away at low RPM's
My KTM450 is really loud really but i can come back thumping silently - not much louder than a car.

Thread bump for this awesome mod.

I just got my two bros exhaust installed and its just way too frakking loud. I had heard people say it was loud, but I had no idea it was going to make my ears ring after even a 5 minute ride.
