Oh yes, I forgot to mention that Mani is the dood ripping the track on the "BEFORE" picture ^^
Heya Mani, thanks man! it's not your monster RR, but it's where I wanted it to be (minus a couple of small stuff ).
Do me a favor and post your best pic of your hawnduh with all the mods in here plz
Cant wait for the 26th... I`ll have the camcorder on the tank, but this time I won`t mess with it while riding near the cliffs
Not one comment about the finished headlight? damn... tough crowd around here... or is everyone tired of seeing my machine yet?
Lots of ppl on the french forum think my headlight is located too low on the forks... it's definitely lower than the OEM headlight, but I think it looks in line with the tank and the frame... what do you think?
Looks sweet, man! At first I thought it looked a little low too, but upon further inspection you are right - looks like it flows from the tank right where it is. Put up some daytime pics when you get a chance.

Hehe... Can't wait till the 26th. Been a long while since a good group ride in the canyons. I'll bring some duct tape to tape your camera controls so you don't get tempted
I was looking at your light position and, IMO, it's perfect. It gives the bike lot more attitude.
Not much was done to my bike since the last time you saw it with the exception of the wheels. New sliders this weekend just in case for the 26th ;)

my god dave... its ug- i mean! sweet! hahaha, really though! the light is a little low for my taste, and for some odd reason, i like the massive tire hugger. but i loved how it turned out man!
my finishing piece will be done on monday (the painted mini fairing)

Well that's good then, so I`ll be able to see how a higher headlight looks on your bike
You mean you prefer the stock rear hugger (without cutting it)?

yah! haha, i know its weird... but im a sucker for big plastic pieces on a bike hahaha, i guess i like the "future-esk" plastic everywhere thing i dont know...
i think your light position works for your bike because you have your speedo mounted high on the bars. for mine, the higher mounts works better, because i have my speedo mounted low on the clamp tree, it mounts flush with the fairing.
yours can pull of the sleek low look. mine would look funky with a low light, and then a black plastic chunk (the speedo) hanging in the air inches above... which doesnt make sense considering i said "i like big plastic pieces".
im fellin' goofy today

So I took a day off today to relax and clean the bike... it's the first time I wash it since I bought it from Mani I know it's disgusting, but I did not want to do it before it was finished
Here are some pics under today's beautiful Southern Cali sunshine:
