Thanks I usually wear boots, but I was just at the hardware store to get a couple of bungee cords (which you can see pop out from the front of my jacket lol), so these shoes were enough

Haha, my beautiful gf noticed your shoes. Had to reassure... I would NEVER go out for bungee cords without my gear... Yes dear, that's right.

Somehow the headlight looks a little too much protruding forward. Your previous bike was looking better, I think. Is there any way where you could make the lower part less forward?

Comment for those thinking of going naked: I had to take the seat cowl off last night to access the compartment under the seat and did not have time to put it back on... took the bike to go to work today and man I missed that seat cowl!

With the added wind on your chest the seat cowl is a definitive advantage when naked. There's quite a big difference as it locks you in your seat when accelerating.

The mini fairing is still not painted... went to my friend's shop this morning and he is slacking! Should be done by Monday night......

Cleaned the lasers and removed the rear hugger today... and painted the beat-up custom headlight brackets as well (flat black... still looks bad but whatever).

I did not wash the bike though...

Hi!

Love how your bike has turned out Wavex!!! Just wondering if you have any plans to powdercoat your exhaust pipes black also? Any experience doing that? I have a blue 04 FZ6 and was thinking about how black pipes would look on my bike...

Thanks bro...

It's pretty funny you mention that because I was thinking about it a couple of evenings ago. My pipes still have a couple of scratches from my crash, and I was thinking about ways to cover them up... powder coating them black may look badass, but it may also look like shit I was thinking about a flat black with (maybe) white tips at the end... headers would need to be done too of course... no direct experience with that kind of stuff myself, but I am sure it could be done without a problem.

I might do it eventually... but if you do, please post up pics!!

Alright so I got 2 good news today:

1) my headlight mini-fairing is finally painted, and I picked it up tonight

2) the 2nd headlight will ship UPS overnight from France to me.

Not one comment about the finished headlight? damn... tough crowd around here... or is everyone tired of seeing my machine yet?

Lots of ppl on the french forum think my headlight is located too low on the forks... it's definitely lower than the OEM headlight, but I think it looks in line with the tank and the frame... what do you think?
