I agree that it does not look great, but I use it quite often, i.e. when I get gas, or when I work on the bike or perform maintenance...etc... so I had decided to keep it on... In this case, "functionality > looks"

It's like the passenger peg brackets... I was going to grind them off the subframe to clean the rear-end, but decided to keep them to mount my camcorder... I created a bracket last night which fits perfectly and works great with the camcorder... so now I`ll be able to get 3 different angles from the bike: gas tank view with speedo... side view (left/right) forward.... side view (left/right) backward...

If I manage to go on a ride this wkd, I am going to test them all and make a little movie

. Let me first gather some moolah from selling my leftover parts.

The bike is looking much much better without the dangling centerstand. That gives me some more courage when I get the french cowl installed.

You won`t regret it

THe only prob I have is the fuel gauge now... it`s still weird. Basically, when it`s showing half way (5 out of 10 bars), you hit the reserve. So I just use the trip meter and refuel every 150 miles

It seems like there is a scaling issue with the fuel meter. As our stock hits reserve after 6 bars, it is almost mimicking the stock fuel gauge.
