I know you've been looking for a perfect headlight for a while now, so yours is on its way as well? I want to see your bomb Fizzer as well when you`re done, so make sure you post pics asap.
Grats on finding someone that has put some serious thought into making a quality, agressive looking, light solution. I Googled until I had blisters and I never ran across that site! I think your bike will look sick with the headlight you picked out.

I apreciate the comments on my bike. I don't know how broad the appeal will be when I am finished with it this time, though. I know I will be ape doodoo over it, but I don't anticipate the kind of response the last version got The direction I am moving in now will either get a love or hate kind of reply, I think. New subframe is underway, R1 swingarm (done right, it aint for the faint of heart, folks), upper triple from scratch, etc. Still have a long way to go... This part of it is a much fun as riding the bike for me though

Your bike is looking really sweet. I can tell you have spent a lot of time cleaning up loose ends. If you are like me, it ended up being WAY more time consuming than anticipated! Kudos on putting in the time to make it look tight and not slapped together! Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see the finished project! (Like you're ever going to finish... Once you get started, you always want to do more! ;) )

Same here bro, I thought I was good at Googling, until I tried to find a good headlight solution... quickly realized I sucked! After a few weeks of trying to find something, I finally decided to try google.fr (France) since I know Fazers are big in Europe (and I was born in France, and have some family over there)... it still took me quite a while (and asking around in french forums) before someone advised me to take a look at KMP... I couldn`t believe it when I saw these headlight! pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

About your bike, well to tell you the truth, Killernoodle's bike made me do the naked conversion, but yours is really my model for perfection! (and I found it afterwards on SBN). One can definitely tell that you`ve spent a LOT of time and efforts on it... (correct, I did too... lot's of time, but I love it).

New subframe, R1 swingarm (that sound very tough do implement...), new tripple... awesome! Thanks, the more mods I can add to my list, the better I feel... (my wife already hates you though for the time and $$ spent! ).
I think we're similar in a sense that a finished Fizzer would mean boredom!

I hope you're gonna post updates in your thread (or here) about your new mods, I believe it is safe to say I am not the only one interested in seeing all of these things on a FZ6 (even while you`re working on it, post pics!).

Thanks for your compliments...

Good question... well I grew up in France and have family and a bank account (in Euro) there... so that helped a lot! I made a transfer of $$ to my dad's account and he will buy it for me and ship it (free) through our company...

So it was "easy" for me! But I am sure I could help you get your hands on one if you`re interested... price in dollars will be steep though, around $750, including fork clamp kit + shipping.
I know.... sucks I remember the time when I used to go back to France with my dollars and kick ass... today going back hurts!

Edit: he actually bought it on Monday and should ship it next week! you may want to wait to see it on my bike...

750 is steep, thanks for the offer of help, but I'll stick to my plan of building one.

You have a link for that $200 headlight?!?!

Looking like this:

Edit: and btw, I paid in Euro, so I didn`t have the pay the horrible exchange rate which was included (along with shipping) in the price I gave above

Not paying for the headlight, paying for the uber sick dressing up of the headlight + good way to mount it, me thinks.

MAN that looks wicked, wavex!

Did your light come in? Or is that a pic from somewhere else?

Would love to see the back + mounting kit when you get a chance. I'll bet it is solid, they sure didn't skimp out on aesthetics. Beautiful fizzer light, IMHO. I might have to copy you on this one...

Yeah, if someone finds a headlight like this one (+ mounting brackets) for $200 I`ll be very pissed off! lol

The pic is from the KMP's sales guy I am in touch with. Real nice guy (and french... go figure ). Mine is actually black, not blue.

Headlight was ordered by my dad early this week and it was shipped to him already (they had it in stock!). Not delivered yet, but any day now... once he gets it, he`ll ship it via USP Red (have to, for international) so it`ll be here in 2-3 days max. Hopefully next week. I will definitely post pics.
