Default G2 Ergonomics Throttle Tube

Today I got in the mail the g2 ergo throttle tube. It took 2 days from time of order to get here.

Its a billet two piece tube that has different cam profiles to tune your level of control of the throttle. I got the cam with the flattest profile. Essentially, the rate of throttle change is smaller than stock per rotation of the throttle tube up until 50%, then the profile of the cam returns to stock until wot.

I read up on it on the fjr forums, and it has made some web magazine appearances, so for $60 I figured it was a minor gamble.

The tube looks nice, fits exactly like stock. It feels smoother to turn, but that just may be the new grease in there. It feels better making small throttle inputs, its not choppy, like on slow turns when you hit the throttle after the apex. Then when you go wide open, you are there.
I want a little more time with it, but my initial impression is that I like it.

At first I started thinking about a pc3 to help smooth things out, then figured it might be my hamfisted throttle control stemming from cv carb'd cruisers. Hopefully this may save me a few hundred bucks.

Might be at least worth a look. ......... www.G2ergo.com

part numbers: rm-40-900s throttle tube $39.95
rm-40-400y cam profile #400 $20.00
priority mail shipping $4.05
total $64.00
