Another FZ6 exhaust - Akrapovic
You FZ6 guys and ladies have an amazingly active forum going on here.
Thought I'd pass along a new exhaust available for your rides...
Currently, only available with street baffles attached (removable), and in titanium only, so far...
No idea on prices stateside yet.
Very informative site with dyno figures, too - Akrapovic Exhaust
These things are made like a Swiss watch.

Been available in Europe for months now. Price is quite high.
Carpimoto in Italy is one of the cheapest sites I know, and here's their FZ6 AKrapovic: http://www.carpimoto.it/product/Lang.../Prod_3348.htm

Yep you're right it is available here in Europe for a while now.
Was doubting to take either this one or the laser xtreme 4 tampered (they are in the same price range) and i don't regret my choise to stick to the laser ones.
They claim to have better performance boost but they can never compete with the looks of the laser.
No one better to ask then the people who are behind me at the trafficlights when i look in my mirror to see they are all looking at the rear...

I was thinking about Laser or Akra too, but then I found Wolf cans, which came #1 at the MCN exhaust comparison.
They're very cheap compared to Laser or Akrapovic, so I ordered a set. Gonna get the in a few days hopefully

I promise to take pics right away when I get them installed and put them on my server.
If the delivery times hold, you'll see them this week.

Damn man, that's alot of cash to throw down.
Bike $6,000.00
Mods $2,100.00
You could have bought a literbike with full fairings for 'bout that much.
I have the same Silver/Black FZ6. I would love to get those additions...

Call me crazy
Maybe a well used one. I'm a noobie. I have no business with an R6 or R1 right now and really prefer having something special. I would hate to pay sportbike rates for insurance. I wanted an FZ6 and now I have it looking like I want it. It feels good to have something very unique. I wouldn't trade it even right now for a stock 2004 R6 or R1....but if you know anyone with an MV Augusta, I'd be interested in a trade....lol...I love my bike and I'm having fun with it, and I'm foolish about how I've been spending money on it. My bad.

I'm the same, I have had a 2002 R1, and wouldn't have another crotch rocket in my garage if it was free.
I like the fact that I have a bike that has a little bit of me in it, and still does everything I need it to.
