Cap'n, you may want to look through the headlight mod thread. I think the way you did it will make your right low and high beam go on at the same time when you select your high beam, which may burn out the bulb among other not so desirable side effects.

Couple questions about kit
This fender eliminator kit will fit bikes with stock exhaust as well as the following aftermarket exhausts: Scorpion, Arrow, Akropovic, Giannelli, M4, Nikko, and Lazer Extreme aftermarket exhausts. It does not work with Devil.
If you have an aftermaket exhaust other than one of these that I've listed then contact me (FAZR6) before purchasing so that I can help you figure out if it will work for you.
I'm interested in this fender eliminator kit, could you please inform me of what exhausts fit with it and which ones do not? Also my old fender's plastic that held it up on the left side with a screw has broke will that be a problem with installing this kit?
Thanks

lowering kit for FZ6
Hi All,
I just got my '06 fz6 yesterday. It's red and beautiful! I promptly tipped over in the driveway after only putting 2 miles on it. I am inseam challenged and need to lower it. Anybody know of a lowering kit out there? I've looked at bikebandit.com and other websites, also this forum, no luck. I was told by 3 salespeople that one was available, but the parts department at the dealer is not able to get one for me. HELP!

Try adjusting the rear suspension preload first. See your manual.

Now my bike is complete (until I get my sliders and new wind screen).

Hey did the LSL Sliders end up fitting with the kit installed? Also what site did you purchase the Lower Fairing and Seat Cowl from?

You could check into a modified seat, Corbin might be able to help you out (for a price). I saw this on Craig's List: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/mcy/338408309.html

I've just about solved the problem with the seat height on my bike. I had a mechanic set the shock to the softest setting and he raised the forks about 3/4 of an inch (on the advice from an acquaintance). It made a big difference. Now I am going to get the seat shaved (my butt goes numb anyway) and that should do it. It still handles fine and is very fun in the twisties...
