check the 'other' board for info...stupid accident and i'm stressed at AAA for their major yet typical so cal attitude towards their former loyal customer.

I got the R1. Seating position is not as aggressive as the one I rode 2 months ago but still a bit. It's like you're on a giant titty and your belly button is where her nipple is, and if you brake too hard you're going over.
I rode around a bit once it was home...feels VERY light, very powerful (gotta watch the throttle on those bumps) and weird. Steering will require more leaning and I need to really read up on those 'riding' books.
It's not designed for a daily beater but i know some that do it and i'll give it a shot.

This seems to be a trend where everyone with a FZ6 is moving up to a R1. Now I may have to contemplate between my 1st choice FZ1, R1, Z1000, Tuono, CBR1000RR .
