My first choice was an upright bike like a fz1 or zx14 (if I could afford one) but this one was a bargain. i just need to get my spine used to the position...rode it to work today but on my first test ride yesterday i didn't think i could. its super light also...very unusual considering i came from a naked 600.
i bought it at a bargain...if it doesn't work out, i can always flip it i'm sure.
So ... do you have any pictures of the actual cans you're selling? Nothing personal, but sight-unseen is a little to much for me to deal with @ $500. I know what M4's look like, I almost got in on the very group buy you posted the link to. What I'm interested in is what do yours look like. Call it paranoia, but when I see something for sale off of a "totaled" vehicle, I'm interested to see exactly what I'm buying.
Sucks that the Fizzer's totaled, but good choice on the new wheels.
The reason I asked if they were available is that the thread is a month old, and posted on two forums. I thought something might have changed between now and then.
I totally don't mean to come off sounding like an asshat if that's what you're thinking, I'm just curious as a potential buyer.
I'm just sensitive about this cus i loved my fazer, truly loved the m4's (no bullshit to try to push them) and after one day of riding my bike gets totalled before i ever get home with them.

I couldn't find any for a good price used. I didn't want new because I wanted to get better leaning. I was shopping for a month or so and found a bargain for an R1 so I bought it. I need a liter bike...the FZ was good but not enough grunt as I wanted, once I started pushing its limits.
I was talking to someone about buying it in person and someone paypalled me and they're gone.
Yeah, and I got ganked by paypal because of the dollar amount or something...they're charging me some percentage, but a deal is a deal and they're sold.
