Just signed up on the map. I love my 08 FZ1 I got it November put 1200 miles on it and then the famous Utah snow hit. Now it is sitting in the garage all ready for spring. I am excited to see other enthusiasts out there for this bike it is sweet.

New to group
I added myself to the map. I am a newbie here. Just bought my very first street bike, happens to be a 2001 Yamaha FZ1! I am super stoked to get this bike out. My name is Robert (Bob) Breedlove. I live in Baldwin MI. I am currently attending Ferris State University and West Shore Community College to be an Elementary Teacher. I work at Lake County Sheriffs Department (jail) and have for the last 7 1/2 years. I started out my bike adventures 2 years ago with an 06 Yamaha TTR 250. I played around in the trails but then found myself wanting to ride everywhere. So I got the TTR street legal and rode out. Well I found the bike is not the best road machine and wanted something with a little more zip. Being 26 years old I did not see my self on a cruiser, but also not cramped on a sportbike. I think the FZ1 will be a perfect compromise with its comfortable seating position and wicked motor.
