Looking for west coast FL people, Sarasota anyone?

Hey all,

Been riding for about a week, took the MSF class, got my license, gear etc... picked up a new to me 2005 GSXR 600, Absolutely love it, many told me its a handful for a newer rider but I am growing into it, been out riding just about every day. Its a great way to relax after a long day at work. Wanted to say thanks to all those from SBN been learning a ton and continue to meet really cool people. I am always up for meeting new people to chat with or ride with.

Welcome to SBN.

You'll see that some of the most active areas in terms of group rides are mostly in Polk County and Orlando. Come on out and ride with us.

I highly recommend the polk county rides, we have a lot of fun on them. Especially todays ride. I hate to throw other forum names around, but if you want to ride just in the Tampa area, go to tampasportbikes.com. Those guys hardly ever join us on rides. I did have one guy finally come with us today though.

Message me sometime. I'm in Venice probably about 20 minutes from Sarasota. I work two jobs, so I'm busy a lot, but I would love to go riding sometime.

When Polk county does their ride south, it works well for me. Just one big loop right back to Sarasota. Precision Cycle in Sarasota puts on a ride the last Sunday of every month starting @ 9:00am. That's an option too. Me, I'm always out riding!

Nice to meet you all Ill keep in the loop, I actually right now feel like iam a riding addict, I have ridden just about every day since I got the bike, and well I tried not to go out today, and ended up at the beach for the drums at sunset

Either way, I am really enjoying riding and already meeting some really great people.
