Took myself alil twistee ride a bit ago. Was my 1st time on a bike (Riding) since I went down July 4th. Feel like a squid all over again. Didn't feel comfortable going around curves, bike felt too powerful and kept suprising me, and I'm definitely rusty as hell. I should gain all of that back in no time w/ alil saddle soreness. Other than that... It feels GREAT to be back. Here are some pics of the bike when she was down followed by how she looks now.
On life support...

Looking good, Rob...Black seems to be our theme with crashed bikes
I've been back in the saddle for a little while now, and I still don't feel 100%...Those low and highsides make you a little more cautious (and just plain scurd)...I think I worry more about having to take apart and put it back together more than I worry about getting hurt...
Take your time and just enjoy being back...I look forward to seein' ya' soon..

Dayum!
That's a mean lookin steed right there, Rob. I like the color (good job Earl) and I agree with Jon on the wrecked black look. I hope I don't see my baby in black!
Also, I dig the FEMA Shingles in the background of picture #5 (After shots). For those of you who don't know, that's the big blue tarp held down by furring strips on the roofs of house damaged by THREE DAMNED HURRICANES!
