9/11 remeberence ride back on...

REMEMBRANCE RIDE 2004, ORIGINALLY PLANNED FOR SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11TH HAS BEEN RE-SCHEDULED.

New Ride Date: Wednesday, October 20th

New Ride Time: Kickstands up at 7PM sharp! This will now be the same as our traditional candlelight evening ride.

New Ride Departure Location: Florida State Fairgrounds.....the Remembrance Ride will begin at the fairgrounds...NOT...Harley-Davidson of Tampa.

New Staging Area: Bikes will stage at the Highway 301 entrance to the fairgrounds.

New Staging Time: Bikes will begin staging at 4PM. Ride positions will be based on a first come, first served basis.

Ride Destination: Channelside Entertainment Complex.

Channelside Program: The program at Channelside will take place as originally planned. There will be a patriotic commemorative ceremony beginning at 8PM followed by the concert starring Country music Equity Records recording artists Carolina Rain.

Merchants and vendors will provide the riders will provide the registered riders with all complimentary food and services originally planned. The commemorative event is open to the public, so please encourage your friends and family to greet you and attend.

Ride Day Gear: Harley-Davidson WILL NOT RE-ISSUE new registration materials to those persons already registered for the ride. The wristbands, bike bandana's, merchant coupons and VIP parking passes will all be valid for October 20th.

New Registration: If you have not already registered for the ride please do so by visiting www.tampaharley.com or www.wqyk.com, printing out the registration form and bringing it to Harley-Davidson of Tampa, Brandon or New Port Richey along with your $ 30 ride fee to get registered.

Charities: The Gold Shield Foundation and Operation Warm Heart will benefit from the ride.
