Default My friend Gleno RIP

I’m not sure where to start. The motorcycle community in Las Vegas and in general has lost a huge friend.

Glen McIntosh or as everyone knew him GLENO

Last night right after having a great dinner with fellow riders at a TWT event Gleno road away from the restaurant. A woman driving a mini van ran a stop sign and Gleno struck the side of the van and died at the scene. At the time of the accident he was wearing full gear along with a helmet. A member of SCS was witnessed the accident and was with him when he passed.

Gleno was the president of Sin City Sports bikes here in Las Vegas. If you road here in Las Vegas you had a pretty good chance of meeting Gleno or at least hearing about him.

For those that met him either online or in person, know what kind of person he was. I can not say enough about this great man. He was always willing to share his knowledge of riding, bike tech, and of course his smart ass remarks. He hosted more than once “tech days” at his house so that he could share his knowledge of motorcycles with everyone.

I have seen several occasions Gleno drive several hundred miles go pick up a rider who had wrecked and bring him and his bike home.

For me it is a huge loss not only have I road miles and miles riding with this great man, I was lucky enough to consider him a personal friend.

Gleno was active in several sport bike and BMW forums including SBN we will all miss him dearly.

Some other links of friends of GLENO

I saw this on the BMW sport-touring board, where I lurk more than post. Please accept my sincere condolences to everyone in your group. Gleno sounded like a real original, and that he will be missed. R.I.P.
