Default Friends brother passes away

One of my good friend's brother just passed away on his R1. I was just out at his house last weekend and was checking out his bike. I don't know a whole lot yet because I haven't spoken with my friend. If anyone in Southern California has heard or read anything, post it up please. RIP

RIP

The name wouldn't be Rivera would it?

I usually hear about the SoCal accidents fairly quickly...do you know where it happened? It's been pretty quite lately now that "the season" is over.

Doesn't help that the underage driver and her passenger could have been drinking. Hitting the pavement is not my greatest fear while riding - it's getting hit by another vehicle while I'm down.

RIP

I always hate to hear when we lose another rider. Any update of charges against the driver?

well I've heard a lot more since the accident. It turns out that the car that hit him was his friends. The family is pressing charges against the driver of the car that hit him. The thing that I found to be the most disturbing is that they believe that he was standing when they hit him. Basically the crash didn't even close to kill him, he went down and got up and was hit, truely a horrible death
