Default Ryan Stevenson

This afternoon a 25 year old male named Ryan Stephenson was riding here in Indiana when he hit a mailbox and was launched 100+ feet. He was wearing a helmet but as fast as he was going it didn't matter, the cops say speed was a major factor. The bike looked like a Hayabusa.

I didn't know the guy, but RIP... my condolences to his family.

A 25-year-old Indianapolis man died Sunday when the motorcycle he was test-driving hit a mailbox near the intersection of Shelbyville Road and Emerson Avenue.

Ryan Stevenson, Indianapolis, was pronounced dead at the scene from severe head injuries, said Lt. Michael DeHart, spokesman for the Marion County Sheriff's Department.
Stevenson, who was wearing a helmet, was driving southeast on Shelbyville and crossed Emerson, where the roadway makes a slight curve. Witnesses said Stevenson went straight and hit the mailbox.
The owner of the motorcycle Stevenson was test-driving was riding with him on another bike.
