Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater, for Kevin Michael Glynn, 24, a resident of Edgewater for 14 years, who died in a fatal motorcycle accident June 15. He was pronounced dead at Anne Arundel Medical Center. A story about the accident ran in the June 16 edition of The Capital.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 515 Loch Haven Road in Edgewater, followed by burial in Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church cemetery in West River.
Mr. Glynn was born Sept. 12, 1981, in Clinton, Md. and lived in Upper Marlboro before moving to Edgewater. He graduated from South River High School and earned an associate's degree from Anne Arundel Community College. He completed one year of training at Wyoming Technical Institute in Pennsylvania.
He worked for Trick Trucks in Edgewater and enjoyed mountain biking and repairing automobiles.
Surviving are his mother and step-father, Elaine and George Heinlein of Edgewater; one step-brother, Keith Heinlein of Easton; one half-brother, Billy Martin of Tennessee; one step-sister, Lauri Ann McCormack of Annapolis; and grandparents, John and Pat Glynn of Upper Marlboro and Florence Martin of Thurmont, Md. He was the son of the late Bill Martin; brother of the late Donna Martin; and grandson of the late Norman Martin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity on ones' choice.

Edgewater man dies in motorcycle accident

A 24-year-old Edgewater man died Thursday after he lost control of his motorcycle while going around a curve, crossed the double yellow line and was hit by a woman driving a Toyota, according to Anne Arundel County police.
Kevin Michael Glynn of the 300 block of Arbutus Drive was riding with two other motorcyclists on Harwood Road about 7 p.m. when the accident occurred.
He was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said. Speed and alcohol were not considered factors in the crash, and Glynn was wearing a helmet, police said.
Paula J. Felt, 55, of Alexandria, Va., was driving the Toyota, but was not injured.
A passenger in her car, Jane Scott of Harwood, was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Motorcyclist dies in head-on crash
HARWOOD -- A 24-year-old motorcyclist died last night after running into the front of an SUV on a two-lane road, county police said.
Kevin Michael Glynn, of Edgewater was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center in Parole, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said Mr. Glynn was driving his 2003 Buell south on Harwood Road just before 7 p.m. when he crossed the double yellow line and hit a northbound 2006 Toyota Highlander driven by Paula J, Felt, 55, of Alexandria.
Mr. Glynn laid the bike down on its right side in front of the SUV before he was hit, police said.
Mrs. Felt wasn't injured, but her passenger, Jane Scott of Harwood, suffered some minor facial injuries. She was treated at the scene by medics.
