A 24-year-old Edgewater man died Thursday after he lost control of his motorcycle while going around a curve, crossed the double yellow line and was hit by a woman driving a Toyota, according to Anne Arundel County police.
Kevin Michael Glynn of the 300 block of Arbutus Drive was riding with two other motorcyclists on Harwood Road about 7 p.m. when the accident occurred.

He was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said. Speed and alcohol were not considered factors in the crash, and Glynn was wearing a helmet, police said.

Paula J. Felt, 55, of Alexandria, Va., was driving the Toyota, but was not injured.

A passenger in her car, Jane Scott of Harwood, was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
