Default Three Riders go down

Well guys it is an unforunate thing to write.. There is a group of guys that I always ride with. I was at work so was not able to go riding with them (lucky me) They met up with 2 other guys that we have never ridden with before (note * they were told this guy was a loose cannon on a bike)
Anyway, they are riding up a hill and this guy just swerves into the on coming lane at the top of the hill and takes a car head on at about 80mph.
The impact was intense.. it sent bike and car parts flying through the air and took two other riders off their bikes.
Steve, the rider that hit the car did not servive (my thoughts to his family) Jeff, who had a part of the bike or car take him off his bike is in serious condition and was air lifted to the hosptial (get well soon) Paul, who was also taken off his bike by flying parts is pretty scraped up but managed to take the least of the shrapnal. Tim and Scott, were ahead of the whole thing, they tryed to help the guys that were smashed up as much as possible while the cops and EMV arrived. I did not know Steve or Jeff but like I said my thoughts to Steves family and I hope Jeff makes a quick recovery.
Here is something I found on the net for the Durham region news on the accident.. it doesn't really say much, if you were to talk to Paul who watched the whole thing; it is not something you'd want to know a whole lot about.

One dead, three hurt after motorcycle pile-up

May 30, 2006

OSHAWA -- An Oshawa man is dead and two other motorcycle riders were injured after what police say was a high-speed crash in the city's north end Monday evening.

Durham Regional Police said 26-year-old Steven Devecseri of Hinterland Drive was riding with other riders at a high rate of speed on Thornton Road near Winchester Road around 5:30 p.m. when his bike veered into the path of a northbound passenger car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other motorcycle riders became involved in the wreck, police said. A 29-year-old man was taken to the trauma unit at Sunnybrook Hospital with a neck injury, while a 25-year-old man was treated and released. The driver of the Pontiac car sustained minor injuries.

Police traffic investigators closed the road for several hours to gather evidence in the region's ninth fatal accident of 2006.
