Default God speed my friends

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that I have lost 2 friends to motorcycle crashes in the first 2 weeks of January.

The first was Bryan Newton. I went to school with Bryan. He was killed in Temple, TX when a 94 yr old lady did a u-turn in front of him. Actually this happed Dec. 31. He was laid to rest Jan. 2. He was 33 yrs old. Please pray for his young wife and family.

The second was Brad Bufe. I knew Brad through other friends. He was killed in Stephenville, TX after failing to make a curve at a very high rate of speed. This happened on Jan. 4. He was only 21 yrs old. He was laid to rest on Jan. 8. Please also pray for his family.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL OUT THERE.......I don't want to lose any more friends like this!!!

I am sorry for your losses, and the losses of those families - that's really sad. But, as for the 94 year old lady thing - true, she probably has no business on the road at that age - but how fast was he going that he hit her in a U turn, and how closely was he tailing her?

Folks, JDW999 is right when he says, "Be careful out there". That means not following too closely, and not outriding your abilities (i.e., tailgating a slow driver and driving 100+ MPH on curvy roads).

Again, sorry for your losses. It's very sad - but it could have easily been avoided.
