These are people who I have known since I was a kid. This is so tragic. I don't think he will live through this. I don't think he wants to.
The latest Meigs fatality occurred Tuesday at 9:05 p.m. on Ohio 124, about three miles west of Rutland.
Troopers said Tammy K. Hutton, 35, Langsville, was pronounced dead at the scene by Meigs County Coroner Dr. Douglas Hunter after the motorcycle on which she was a passenger struck a deer and went off the left side of the road, leaving driver Terry L. Hutton, 42, Langsville, in the eastbound lane of 124.
Tammy Hutton landed in the westbound lane of the highway and was struck by a pickup truck driven by Allen D. Stacy, 62, Langsville, the patrol reported.
Terry Hutton was airlifted to Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, W.Va., by MedFlight. Stacy was not injured.
That's the WORST. It's not like being in a car and having something stupid happen. It's ten times worse. I'm sure the guy is doing the whole "if only" thing to himself. "If only I had turned the handlebars this way." "If only I had gotten on the brake sooner." "If only I had made sure she could hold on tighter."
I can't think of anything more horrible. I would want to die too.

RIP for the passenger.
I hope the guy pulls through and realizes that his wife died doing what she wanted to do, riding with her man. Hard not to blame yourself i'm sure, but the fact is that there are people that love him, need him around, and are thanking God each day he is alive.
