Steve had been riding over 40 years and was an ex-pro racer. He probably logged over a million miles in those 40 years; if he wasn't sailing or skiing he was riding his motorcycles (both street and dirt). He was a really wonderful person and will be missed by many; there were over 400 people at his memorial. So, please don't get cocky because you think you're an experienced rider. Take care and ride safe.
