Just found out that a buddy of mine died last night...a fellow rider as well. His name is Morris.
He'd been in the hospital for a few months now, basically due to complications with diabetes.
This guy was awesome. He was around 50 years old, but was one of the coolest ppl I've ever met in my life. He was a real biker. Loyal to HD for his own ride, but really enjoyed company of all bikers (his def. of biker: Someone that loves to ride and does ride...someone that isn't scared of the rain, cold, etc...some1 that rides as often as possible...not someone that owned a HD). He looked like the stereotypical HD rider...long hair, beard, scruffy looking....he even used to be in Hell's Angels....but was the nicest "biker" I've ever met. He's the type of person that would do ANYTHING for you if you were a friend of his...would likely even have loaned me his bike if I needed it. He could make me laugh when I was so irritated at work that I could burn down whatever I was working on.
He was a real biker. He lost a leg in 1 bike crash, and broke his back in another, yet he still rode up until he was put in the hospital. He was fearless to an extent, and really loved riding.
Sorry if I'm rambling...just a little...well....bleh feeling about this.

He sounds like my kind of person. That definition of a biker is the same as mine right down to a T!!
Sorry to hear about your loss. Our thought are with you.
