hi, i recently bought a 1997 fzr 600 and well i wanna make it a bit custom, it needs just about all the plastic so i decided to go ahead and make it the way i want it, but the thing is i dont have any ideas on how i want it to look. im open to every kind of style you can think of (except the stock look), but if you could please tell how hard the customization is and where i could get the parts. thanks

I'm going to be doing a little touring next year, a week long trip or two. Obviously I'll need to pick up some luggage.

I'm looking at Cortech tank bags, as I've heard nothing but good things. I'm also looking at Ventura systems for luggage racks for the back of the bike. Ventura didn't list a system specific to my bike on their site but an email to their rep got me the info I needed.

Problem is, I can't seem to find anyone in the US selling their stuff, only the UK and AUS. Anyone know of any other options for my bike?

Newbie here who is trying to start with simple things. I have a '08 CBR600 and want to put CRG Hindsight mirrors on it. I started with just the mirrors, but they don't fit on the stock bar ends. So then I bought the Billet internal adaptor, but there's no room inside grip for the adapter to fit.

Am I just being stupid here? Is it a matter of moving the controls out a bit to make room? I'm hesitant to mess with the controls.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Hey guys. On my 07 ZZR600, I've decided to remove the baffles in the exhaust, polish the can and have the tip powder coated Candy Fire Red to match the bike. So far I have drilled out the rivets at the rear of the can to pull the tip off. It feels like it's press-fit in and there appears to be a gray sealant in the groove. I was just wondering if the tip should just pull out? If so, what would be an effective way of doing this without gouging the tip or the can? Will the core of the muffler just pull out once the tip is removed? Thanks...Derek

I'm looking into purchasing a power commander in order to smooth out the performance of my 07 gixxer 600. I'm not really looking for power as much as smooth idle, throttle, acceleration, etc. My question is which power commander do I buy? Also, how much is the custom map/dyno going to cost me?

I probably should be asking but I am curious. Is it possible to convert a mechanical speedo and tach into digital?

I imagine I would need some sort of pickup that converts the mechanical signal to an electric pulse. However. Does something like this exist in an aftermarket concoction that can be used on any bike?

I have an 01 r6 and just bought pig spotter 2's for it. I want to wire them so they work with my turn signals, there are two wires on each of the mirrors. One white and one black, where do I splice these in and also I am assuming the white wire would go to the red wire frommy turn signal and black to black.... Pics would be nice too...Thanks

I have a '97 Ducati 916 and looking to swap to HIDs. I have pulled the bulbs out and it looks like the low is an H8 and the high is an H1, but so far I haven't been able to find anything saying for certain as to what bulb type I need for either. I am just lookin to change the low beam for right now, but any help is greatly appriciated!

Anyone else here use these drop-in fork dampening valves? If so, what's your impression?

I bought sets for both my '06 DL650 and '02 SV650. Installed them in my Strom easily enough and have noticed a marked improvement in handling on unpaved roads. Have yet to install them on my SV.

Okay i purchased some led strips off of ebay. There are six strips each containing 15 white leds. I want to wire them all to turn on using a switch. How would i wire them?

So I just bought a Driven Power Up kit on eBay because my chain and sprocket are so worn out it scares me, check garage pics for reference (and I've put 1,500 miles on the bike since the pic). So I bought the power up kit because it was a good price, of course without researching it. Just got a refund on college tuition and stupidly didn't so much research because of the big number in my bank account. From what I've read it's actually a pretty nice product, anyone have personal experience? Oh and it's a 520 conversion as well.
