			<title>How to Clear a Flood</title>

			<description><![CDATA[Ok. So I was reading a thread and someone said something about clearing a flood. Flood Clearing. Or some other variation. So I searched the site. And I didn't find anything that satisfied me. So I used old faithful "Google" .

Short and simple. I hope people add to this!


There are a few methods. The one I use is removing all the  plugs .Move aside the Plug wires.  Make sure your fuel is turned off.  Now let the engine turn over and push out all the excess fuel. Put rags to catch the fuel so you don't got a bunch of loose fuel hanging around. And there is no way for the engine to spark. 

There is another that involves lighting to fuel in the cylinders so it will actually burn the reminding fuel. I am told its a bad idea. Watching your bike and shop burn to the ground if it goes wrong.... Yeah.


Another is to remove to plugs. Have a air compressor ready and waiting with a blower nozzle hooked up. Then put the piston to tdc. With a rag around the hole. Blow into it so it will clear out the fuel in the cylinder. Repeat the process with each cylinder. 


That should clear out your cylinders.
