New to me R6s

Well I am back in the R6 forum again. I really regretted selling my last R6, and am very happy to have another on back in the stable. We got back from Romania on Wednesday night, got up bright and early Thursday morning to start the bikes up and ride (even though it was cloudy, cold and just plain miserable). Hubby's bike cranked right up, the Black Widow said "hell no, I won't go!" and would just not start. I brought the battery in side, put it on a trickle charger while we were gone and all.

So we went and bought me a new (to me) bike, something that actually starts lol. I was going to get a ZX14 off of Ebay there are plenty out there for great prices, but getting it over here is a pain in the a** for me and the seller and very expensive to ship over here so I will wait until we get back to buy one.

Any how, here she is, I bought her off an Airman in Ramstein for 5200.00.

She is an 2007 R6s, 4200 miles, Slip on Yosh, PC, KN, frame and swing arm sliders, two Icon Jackets, one Icon helmet, leather Icon gloves, GPR steering damper. And the bike is super clean. I spend the day rubbing and touching her you know that "getting to know you" inspection, she is in pristine :cheerscondition, the fellow really did not ride her that much.

Information on R6

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently looking at buying a used R6. I had a few questions that hopefully some of you guys can answer. The bike is a 2004 R6 in pretty good shape. It does have 19,000 miles on it. KBB says that's about right for mileage. Is this something to be concerned about? I know the answer is based on the condition and maintenance of the bike, but I was curious in general (i.e. do R6's have a bad record at that many miles). The bike has a small ding in the tank and a mark in the rim from a curb, but the tire doesn't loose air. It has never been laid down. He is looking for $2700. It also has some accessories such as a stand, cover, slip on exhaust and some other stuff.

Thanks for your help

09 R6S--a couple questions

Hi all, I have a near brand new 09 R6S (from mid-May) and I was curious about the horsepower on it, does anyone know exactly how much horsepower it has stock? (My friend likes to talk trash non-stop, he has an 08 CBR600RR and if anyone knows what that thing's horsepower is i'd appreciate it) Plus, if anyone knows how the two would fair against each other or even has a video of two racing that'd be appreciated.

I was also curious about the history of the bike (R6S), is there a place that has the concrete history of the bike's development over time?

Is there any websites/shows/magazines that are really good on info for sportsbikes? (From stats, to mods, to actual legitimate racing)

I didn't see a forum for the YZF-R6S so thats why I posted here, sorry if its just for the YZF-R6.

I'd appreciate any help answering these questions, thanks all.
