Default Thruxton 900?

I am seriously considering a new type of bike. I am looking very closely to the new Thruxton 900. I like the looks of the retro cafe style racer, but am unsure of the handling characteristics and the street performance (knee draggin)
I have a sport bike and will probably miss the performance but I am now leaning towards a more relaxed ride without having the erge to go 120 where ever I go (You all know what I mean. LOL). Have you ridden one or what have your heard about the bike?

Thanks very much

2wf.com has a pretty sweet write up about racing a thruxton 900

I also saw one at my most recent track day - looked like a fun machine that would fit what you're looking for. definitely love the cafe racers!

Probably doesn't have the ground clearance of your gixxer though, so not sure if you'll be dragging a knee or hard parts first.
