Haha are you serious? You have to wait longer than 2 minutes to get an answer. Sure, these boards are quick but give it some time or google it if you're in a hurry.

i didn't mean to think i was going to get an answer that soon. i just checked my own response and thought i wasn't .."clear"? thanks for trhe comment..at least someone is reading this. had a great ride yesterday ..in the heat..man it was 103!!! rode up the mtn to the snowbasin ski resort and then stopped at the local hangout/gas station..i pulled in got off the machine...some Harley guys were there. they asked what kind of "sewing machine" i was riding. that hurt!! i need some growl from the 748..just have the stock cans but not to worry..i just got some D&D exhausts off ebay. i sure hope these have some "sound"!!! have a great day ..later..the maj

For an answer to your question I would suggest that you post on one of the Ducati sites. Although this is one of the best sportbike/rider sites, there are only about a dozen of us Duc owners.

Try speedzilla.com or ducati.ms for more detailed information from about a thousand different Duc owners. Most of these guys probably own or have owned 748's and will be happy to answer your questions.

Then come on back here for the party!

thanks for the reply..sorry i havent repied in such a long time. so many bikes so little dough. oh well..i like to at least look at them. tore into the bmw yesterday gotta replace the fuel filter..the gauze bag? yeah it's a little black bag full of ..??? wtf is it? i squezzed it and it began to break up like crystals..ya think it's dope? i know it's some kind of filter stuff had to remove the tank..of course the tank was full of fuel..great timing eh? cleaned a vacum orvice which was blocked..it's a 94 rs1100rs so i don't think it's ever been even touched since it was built. i'm expectin some D&D mufflers anytime for the 748....can't wait to scare the shit outta the kids in the neighborhood. man ya gotta have some sound ..Nicky did it again...good race ...where where the Ducs? thanks again...Paolo
