doing valve check

how hard is it to do your own valve check and adjustments? lookin at gettin a duc but only if i can save some money by doin my own work.

If you're a competent mechanic doing the valves, belts, etc, won't be impossible, despite the horror stories you've heard.

There are plenty of free online resources/guides and of course LT Snyder's handbook ($20) that's worth every penny, desmotimes.com. I own two 4V Ducs and if I weren't doing my valves, belts, etc, I'd go broke.
