Default What oil do you guys use?

Gonna do my own oil change at the 1500 mark... what oil do you guys use in yours?

They carry a few brands at the Duc shop, but surprisingly no Shell Advance. Mobil One seemed to be their flavor of choice.

Was thinking of sticking with the Mobil One, since it seems a lot more available than the Shell Advance... but if it's good enough for the track...

I wouldn't think the Duc has special oil requirements that other engines dont. I'm using Amsoil. The Motul was more expensive, and my prejudice says it's not as good.

Not saying requirements, just wondering what folks are running with what results. Different engines react to different fluids... uh... differently

Mine's currently running Mobil One 10W40, but I'll hit 1500 soon and do another change. Might want to switch up oils if someone has some anecdotal evidence leaning towards a particular lube.

And the day I see a Nippon engine running in my greasy pizza bike... I'll move on to German snobbery ;)

Mobil 1 15/50 synthetic. Cheapest, fine quality. None of the other high priced oils are any better. I've been using M1 15/50 synth in my 916 and ST4 for years and both desmos are happy as pigs in shit.

Visit any Duc board and you'll find M1 is highly popular and recommended.

Another Mobil 1 Synthetic user, here. Never had any problems in the four years I've had my M750.

Well, was wrong about M1 at the shop, they seem split between Mobil and Motul. They dropped full synth Motul 15w50.

I'll probably switch to Mobil One, though. Cheaper and apparently more available.

Thanks for the input all!
