Default Request for help repairing a bike

Hello all, I'm posting this for a friend wasn't aware these forums exist. We live in Eastern PA, USA and he has a '96 Ducati 900SS with a wrecked front end. He says everything back of the triple tree is OK, but the whole front end needs to be replaced. He tried going back to the stealership where he bought it, Fast by Ferracci in Willow Grove, PA, but they didn't want to deal with it. So he's looking for someone, or information about shops, that could help him get it back on the road. I'll check back on this thread occasionally to check for responses, but a PM would be the best way to contact me. I'm a member of SportBike.net's forums and spend most of my time in the FZ6 forum, FYI. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Has he thought about calling shops he can look up in the phone book or online (i.e. have you do the online humping)? There are shops around but whether they'll take the same position as FBF is another story; I can't imagine why they wouldn't, esp now during the slow season.

Otherwise I guess he needs to quickly become internet savvy and become a sponge, absorbing as much as possible about fixing it himself. There are plenty of resources, free, out there that will guide him in front end repair. Even these forums will go a long way (probably the best resource actually).

Good luck.
