Need some info on an 02 Monster 750

I'm looking at buying one in the near future and was just wondering if there is anything I should be looking for? I'm not really familiar w/ Duc's so any help would be appreciated. Here's what I know about the bike: It's an '02 bought brand new in Jan of this year, has less than 700 miles, and just looks and sounds freakin awesome. The bike is owned by my wifes uncle currently, so I plan on takin a little test ride this week, below is a pic of the actual bike. Please don't make fun of my silly lookin country ass. :-) One more thing, any idea what insurance might run on one of these bad boys?

had a 01 750SS and really liked the look, handling and SOUND!!!!!!!! i hate to say it but i couldnt live with it because of the performance. other than that i loved it. love to get another duc but want at least a 1000 2v or a 4v

OK, I just went and rode it about 20 miles and freakin loved every minute of it. If it wasn't so cold I would have went another 50. Guys, I am in love w/ this bike. It's better than my FZ6 in so many ways. Lighter, more flickable, plenty of power for me, seat height is lower, etc. Hell, if I would have known all these things when I purchased my fizzer I never would have brought it home. To tell you the truth, buying a Duc never even crossed my mind.

So, my question to all of the more experienced Duc owners is this: What are the downfalls of this bike?? I'm kinda on cloud 9 right now so I didn't really see/hear/feel anything. Also, what would be a good price? Again, thanx for any help.
