Default Good price on a new Duc?

I was quoted $12,480.00 out the door on a 2005 749 Dark. What do you guys think?

If you want a 749 dark , then thats not a GREAT price but it isnt horrible either.
For that much , you can find a nice used 03/04 ( with extras ) 749s or a base 999 if you look long enough.

Greenville? Im not too far from you ,good roads near you in the upstate. Check out www.carolinariders.com

I got the price down a bit more...I considered a 999, but as this will be my first Ducati, I thought I would start with the 749. If I become smitten, I will certainly upgrade. There are indeed some really good roads around here...where in SC are you?

You may as well get you the 999. If you are going Ducati, may as well get the big dogg and spend a little extra money.

Myself, I would still love to have me a 998, but can't even afford a toy model from Wal-Mart.

Frydaddy and myself ride together ,well he follows me around is a better way to put it ( just joking )
We are down in the SE area of SC , no good roads like in the upstate but I travel to the mtns to make up for it from time to time.

Excellent. Let me know when you guys are headed up this way; I know the area and most of the roads from here to Western NC pretty well.

An 04 for 13.5, thats not bad. Where they trying to get rid of those model years and why so cheap. But the 05 are sweeter because of the painted frame and braced swingarm and a few more ponies.

Hey 999Duc - did you get any riding time in on Saturday. By the time I finished helping my friend get his bike trailer straight, I didn't get to do much riding. I keep trying to tell these clowns to come down there to Savannah and they always come up with some type of bs excuse. I guess I'm going to have to do like I used to do and come down that way be myself (hopefully I want have anymore bike problems like I had a few weeks ago when I started down there).
