Default About high Performance Drag Bike.. Hope to get helps....

I am a fan of Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and soon I will have a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, I need some advice on what and which is the best for ZX-10R on boosting the top speed and pick up. Any opinions, tech advise, needed parts or tuning help would be greatly appriciated.

My questions
  1. Which turbo is best suit for ZX-10R?
  2. Is any car turbo can suit for it?
  3. How about changing carburetor to high cc carburetor by boosting its speed? Is it good? Which carburetor suit for it then?
  4. Other than 3 stated above, what can I customize on boosting top speed and pick up? And which is the best for it?

Other than that,Im doing some research of custom sportbikes to make my bike to be able drag on street and is with high performance. So what I would like to know is are they any books no matter it is in hardcover or softcover which teaches and tells us on how to customizing our sportbikes on their performance especially top performance and have turbocharger, supercharger and nitrous system with it? I've found some of the books but not sure whether they are right or not.

The books are :
  1. Maximum Boost - designing, testing and installing Turbocharger Systems (By Corky Bell)
  2. HPBooks Turbochargers (By Hugh Maclnnes)
  3. Super Tuning and Modifying Holley Carburetors (By Dave Emanuel)
  4. How to install and use Nitrous System for Maximum Horsepower (By Joe Petitt)
  5. A Do-it-yourself Guide to: Street Supercharging

Which 1 suitable for me? Or which books will you recommend for me?

I think you can help me and give me advice. So Hope you can help me. Helps are highly appreciates and gladly accepted.

Thank you in advance.

GT2530 is typically used. Anything between a GT25-30 will suit. I have even heard of a GT35 but, don't know how well it will perform on the street.

The same turbos that are used on a car can work on a bike. Turbos are turbos, they are not vehicle specific. You have to ask yourself what your whp goals are.

That bike is FI. Why take a step backwards. You will need to invest in electronics to get the most out of it. A Suzuki GSX-R 1000 is a better setup. No one makes parts for a ZX-10. You will be doing alot fo R&D. I hope you have deep pockets. The newer the bike the more it will cost to do. Your best bet if you are going to do a ZX-10 is use an 05' model. There is alot more parts availible for that year.

I've heard of people using stock WRX turbos.

If you've never had experience riding one, don't do the turbo right away. I can tell you from experience, it makes the powerband come on a lot harder. It is a huge step in power.

Otherwise, the GT2530 is a good bet, if you are dead set on it. The biggest thing is to match the turbo to your riding and the engine. You sound like you've never done something like this, so I would highly recommend finding a shop to do it, and a good shop can properly calculate for the turbo.

You also need to decide what your goal is with the bike. Do you want drag-race acceleration in the 1/4 mile, top end for flat-out, or responsivness for street riding(don't go turbo here)?

You will sacrifice some on the others for gains on one.
