Default NC Forum goes drag racing

Pics of the event can be seen here: Fayetteville Drag Race - 03/25/07 - new pics on pg 2 on pages 1 and 2 of the thread.

I went a best of 11.70 at 121.xx. Bike is an '01 F4i with only a Scorpion slip-on, and double bubble windshield.

Looks good. The kid on the pocket bike really gave me a laugh.

He was a trip. He was actually going to make a run, and the track truck was going to follow him. Unfortunately, all the people cheering him on, scared him off.

Was a battery powered pocket bike.

Pretty good runs Tragik, Just work on your 60 ft. times and you can get into the '40s. My best E.T. 11.40 @122 mph. 60 ft. 1.85.
Just keep working on it!

Oh I know. This wasn't the first time I've been to the track. I've been probably 12 or so times previously on a different bike, and maybe 100 or so with cars.

60 ft times make or break the rest of the pass. I'm confident I can get them down to the 1.9x's, but dont' think *I* can get it much better. I just suck at dragging bikes. Still fun though.

I do however, think I can get it down to 11.40's even with the 2.0x 60 ft's at a different track in NC. The "Faster" track (Rockingham) ALWAYS yields better ET and mph for me (normally .2 to .3 and 2 to 4 mph).

Thanks for the offer, and I may take you up on it one day.

However, 1/4 mile is more my thing. 1/8 is over to quick.

We're heading down there saturday night. Go look in the Racing sub-forum of the NC Forum for the details.
