Ran the strip last weekend

Best out of 15 runs was 11.54 @ 120mph. It started to get really humid and warm so my times just began to climb from there. In case your wondering the bike is capeable of more it's just my fatass (200lbs Silver R6) can't get it it there. A guy who rode with us (150lbs? Blue R6)ran a 10.9sec on a stock '05 R6. He's also had alot of track time.

This was my second time being at the track in 2 years and it was a blast. If anyone has access to a track I highly reccomend going. We have a group of riders from Western Michigan that went www.wmriders.com The weather could have cooperated more but that's Michigan for ya. It was in the low 70's and cool then climbed to the low 80's and humid.

What is the cut off time for full leathers? Last time I ran I remember most everyone running with full leathers, been like 4 years ago now on a 2001 gsxr1000, fastest time was 10.07 and if I remember correctly 142mph. If you had a blast drag racing, try your hand at a track day doing a road course, you'll be grinning from ear to ear after that.

The cutoff for this track was 10sec. Any faster than that and they required full leathers.

A track day is on my list of things to do this summer. I still need to get the A-Star pants.
