Default New "Drag Racing 101" section

We have added a new Drag Racing 101 section to help organize the posts better. If you have questions or advice concerning Drag Racing please post it in the new section. The general Drag Racing section should be used for race results, news, and posting about your recent drag racing experiences.

Any questions, advice, or concerns please contact myself or Whitman. I will be moving some of the topics into the new section that fit that new category.

What you just read is my opinion and is based on my experiences and the info I have acquired during my life, it's my interpretation and isn't written in stone. Yes, I post long responses regularly because I like to fully explain my views. Don't like it or agree with what I have to say? Then don't read it or respond to it! Respond like an immature idiot to posts of mine and I will just ignore you. Have a nice day.

I am taking my bike to the track in two weeks. I was just wondering what is the best way to launch a bike. I have heard numerous things on this issue. The main one is to launch it is the peak torque range. Then get it to wot.
