I ride a Buell XB12. Can't imagine that short wheel base makes it easy to drag. Mine does wheelies at will practically.

Ah, that first picture point of view was a little decieving. Nice ride. It's good to see another person riding Buell.

If you like the way it handles now but enjoy to drag race the machine. You can do the following to enjoy both activities safely.

DRAG STRIP USE

1) Record all of your front & rear suspension settings.
2) Purchase a front strap (for drag strip use only)
3) Properly install the strap (for drag strip use only)
4) Correct your rear suspension setting for the strip (record the new settings)
5) Correct rear tire pressure to a safe lower pressure (for traction / geometry - Record the new pressure setting)

RETURN 2 STREET USE

1) Remove front strap
2) Return the suspension settings to previous (as recorded prior to correction)
3) Correct tire pressure to previous street pressures

Information if you would like to use it. Have fun at the strip.

Yeah in the summer they shut down the street between heinz field and PNC park in Pittsburgh for a day of street drags. They have the people from Pittsburgh raceway bring a tree and stuff too. Last year a dude with a Buell was racing and he was practically laying on the tank dragging his feet trying to keep the front wheel down and it still was coming up hard. Those bikes are so short and have so much torque. They look like a blast to ride.
