Default Launching Big Red - Turbo Busa

New personal best through the 1/8th... getting better.

R/T = .510 (.500 base)
60' = 1.55
1/8 = 6.02
MPH = 124

The next night's best run through the 1/4 mile was:

R/T = .111 (zero base)
60' = 1.59
1/8 = 5.99 @ 126mph
E/T = 9.16
MPH = 150

However, we were having significant traction issues... ended up dropping tire pressure to 8.5... it still hazed, but also wasted the clutch.

With a sticky tire, a decent track and a clutch, no doubt the bike has the potential to hit mid 8's.

Spectators can hear it hazing the tire through 5th through the trap

GREAT JOB!

Try a M/T Shootout tire or Pirelli Super Corsa's / Metz Rennsport's

Go to azmotorsports.com and get a Shinko (spelling ?) drag tire for like $100 to your door. Not only are the Shinko's way more sticky but they lay down a much wider contact patch, sorry but those other "sticky" street tires just won't get the job done. My drag buddy runs Shinko tires on his ZX10 and is pulling 1.48 sixty foot times, they work.
