OK..so now I'm going to hear it from "The Peanut gallery", but hear goes anyway.
I am fairly experienced riding on the street and am FULLY aware of the hazards doing it.
I am currently NHRA Licensed in SC and ET. My speed limit is 200mph in the quarter.
The Dragsters I drive make 0-60 in less than a second. My personal best is 7.88 @ 177
I just got a new motorcycle that is "CAPABLE" of low 11's. I have never owned a bike with this much power or handling ability. It will be my "Grocery Getter" considering the high price of fuel.
I have absolutely no idea how to "Launch" a bike. I've never done a "Burnout" with one either. I also know that a good driver can beat a faster car(bike) on any day. (I'm living proof)
I live near Pomona and California Speedway. I plan on attending "Track Day" with "Fastrackriders.com" in the near future. That however is not suitable for "The Stoplight Grand Prix")
Street Races are over in 4 seconds or less. The better driver wins more than the faster bike. I plan on being that driver. I know it takes training. Without TONS of training, NHRA would never allow anyone in the seat of a dragster.
Frank Hawley School is for SC, SG and Drag Bikes only. Freddie Stewart is WAY to expensive.
Where can I go? Where should I start?
