Default Drag Racing Gearing

Hey guys, and gals. New to the forum. I have an 01 gsxr 750 with kn filter, yoshi trs exhaust and power commander with basic map, lowered 3 in rear and strapped in the front. I am curious as two what is best as far as sprockets for drag racing. All I have right now is a 520 conversion with stock teeth. I have in possession a front sprocket dropped 3 but don't think that is what I need. Also, if anybody can just give me some general information on tips and tricks of drag racing. I have only made 5 passes on my bike and I am trying to get better at it. Thanks guys

Strapping & Slamming the geometry is a good start. If it launches good off the line now you may not need to adjust any of the suspension settings, front or rear.

As for gearing, utilize a gearing chart for different combinations. You might want to try -1 on the counter and +2 on the rear sprocket. Practice, practice, practice. ALWAYS take your time and graduate up to full launches anytime you make any changes. Annotate every bit of info you can.

Think Smart, Race Smart.

Hope This Helps!
