Is the bike set up for launchin hard? Like being lowered, strapped down, or stretched?

rev it up and ride the clutch about sums it up.

This video basicallys sums it up.

http://dontbescaredracing.com/video/...77_137_zx6.wmv

Basically hold the revs at about 7000rpm. Look at his hand position, hold it like that so you can roll the throttle all the way easily. Pull the clutch in to the point where its just at the edge of catching. Rip the throttle open, ease/feather the clutch out as fast as possible, without flipping the bike over. Keep your weight over the tank for the 1st couple gears.

Obviously its hard as fuk to do, but its awesome when you get it.

What they said and practice, practice, practice. Good 60' times are the key to your success.

Keep in mind on that video, that 600 probably had some ballast added to front end to keep it from wheelieing and Ryan is a pro rider. He was cutting 1.5x or better 60 foot times. But yeah watch his form and basic technique. Your gonna need to ride the clutch out to keep the front end down and you want to be at full throttle as soon as possible. Also the 330 foot time is just as or more important as the 60 foot time is. Doesn't do any good to bust off a good 60 foot time just to end up wheelieing hard out 100 feet or so..

Practice practice practice.
