hey all i think imma be heading down to englishtown on err next fri or so and wanted to know some advise on launching and everything
oh also what time slips should i be trying to aim for... whats the best and average i mean. cos my bro has a 350z and wants to race me but i dunno if i would win or not... considering this is my first time i wouldnt really mind, but anyways just wanted to know some good advise on launching and what rpm i should start at and my shift points thanks later

Launch advice -
1) Start with a low RPM launch
2) DO NOT dump the clutch.......Feather the clutch
3) Try to keep your weight over the tank/control area of the bike
4) DO NOT try to race as if you have raced a thousand times before

Take it slow and learn your limits, those of the machine, be a student of the track and learn to read the track.

I would not worry about shift points other than not to shift at the redline while you are learning how to race your 500.

why dont you come out to island dragway this sunday..... oct 24. usually about 10 bikes or so out there
