So I'm a little bored at work today and I stumbled across this build of an '02 955i...like I said this is old, but pretty damn cool.

Racecomp over in australia sells a turbo kit for these bikes.... I think it's around 4000 bucks? I forget.


I hear these bikes are TOTALLY badass with a turbo, though.

I will volunteer my bike for the turbo conversion...someone just needs to buy the kit for me

About a year ago I saw a racecomp kit on ebay go for REALLY cheap. I think under 1500 bucks. Comes with everything you need. It was used, but very lightly.


I don't think i've seen any others since.

I actually have very little interest in retrofitting a turbo to my Daytona...just thought it was a pretty sweet build...something you don't see every day.

Yeah, it's pretty sweet. Same thing, though- I'd never let it anywhere NEAR my main bike.


But if i built up a custom fighter.... ohhhhh yeah.

I found one other guy that builds turbos for them, but it was around 4-5k somewhere in midwest like wisconsin or minnesota...didn't save the info though.

Yeah, there's a guy in Chicago that does it. I also forget his name.

Prolly same dude i was thinking about. It would be cool to have a turbo, but not for that kind of cabbage.
